Feb 19 - Commissioner's Cup (E league only at this time) - As the season has progressed we have been working on the CC page. We are getting there.
Please let me clarify the criteria that goes into the winner. In the past we have used only Pen Min to rank the winner. The spirit of this award is not only quantitative but also qualitative. Our league is a recreational one. We are playing for a sweatshirt. The spirit is one of competitive, yet fun place to play hockey. Throughout the season, the issues that come up and the way they are handled by the teams will help weigh into the CC race. At this point penalty minutes are 33% of the rating system. 33% is based upon the opinion of the league rep and the effort he has had to put into working with each team. The final 34% go to the commish, after all, it is his cup. The commissioner takes into account personal experience with the teams/captains and feed back from league members and on/off ice officials.
Let's embrace this Lady Bing type award and support Mulligan's for their support of us.
The current standings are now posted. Finish strong - 67% is subjective.
